Check it out... we've added a new scandi-boho collection to our shop by a Denmark-based designer called Bloomingville! Aaahhhh... I feel like we're growing up :) haha.
We love when we find a vendor whose vision meshes with our values, and we love Bloomingville's design philosophy:
"To deliver happy changes to everyday designers."
Creative Director, Betina Stampe, established Bloomingville in 2000 driven by her fascination with Danish aesthetic and the Nordic way of life. She designs simple products that create a warm, informal ambiance in every home. Every single object is drawn by hand. It’s discussed, evaluated and improved by her design team and will only go into the collection if it truly makes them happy!
“We do not design to dominate homes, spaces or people, but to support them – to let users be creative with our products as they please. ”- Bloomingville
Bloomingville has since grown into one of the main global brands for home interior and has brought new life and small surprises into today's homes. Bloomingville expanded to the US last year and we are thrilled to bring their home accents to you.
Bloomingville is headquartered in a 70,000 sqare-foot warehouse in Ikast, Denmark. The remarkable building was decorated by their in-house stylists and reflects the essence of the Bloomingville soul.
I used to be a huge fan of gallery walls. Emphasis on used to be. (Past tense.)
That is until I came to the realization that I just can't pull them off properly.
Gallery walls have to be precisely executed to look polished. Otherwise your wall can end up looking like a hot mess! Trust me, I know from personal experience. I just took down my own gallery wall because I gave up on trying to make it something it will never be. Crème brûlée can never be Jell-O (and vice versa).
